Festiléman: The Great Lake Geneva Festival in Évian-les-Bains
Festiléman is the largest free public event in Évian-les-Bains, Haute-Savoie. Every year during Whitsun weekend, the festival takes over the quays and shores of Lake Geneva for three days of festivities blending music, crafts, culture, water sports, and gastronomy. Since its inception in 2018, Festiléman has grown steadily, now attracting over 50,000 visitors per edition.
No edition in 2026, return announced for 2027
Festiléman will not be held in 2026. Évian-les-Bains is hosting the G7 summit from June 15 to 17, 2026, and the festival cannot take place due to this event. The organizers look forward to welcoming you back in 2027; no dates have been announced yet for this upcoming edition.
A festival born from a love for Lake Geneva
Festiléman was launched in 2018 with the ambition of celebrating life on the shores of Lake Geneva and bringing together residents, associations, and local stakeholders for a unifying event. The first edition, which featured the grand CGN boat parade on the lake, was an immediate success with 30,000 visitors. The festival has since evolved year after year, offering an increasingly rich and diverse program designed to appeal to all generations.
Seven thematic villages
The originality of Festiléman lies in its organization into seven thematic villages spread along the Évian quays: a local associations village, a crafts and creators village, a water sports village with demonstrations and trial sessions, a children's village with shows and workshops, a gastronomy village showcasing producers from the Chablais region, a heritage village dedicated to the history of Lake Geneva, and a well-being village.
Four concert stages
Music is at the heart of Festiléman, with four stages hosting concerts throughout the day and evening. The eclectic lineup mixes French chanson, world music, pop, rock, and traditional music, providing a festive soundtrack that accompanies visitors all weekend long. Local artists perform alongside regional and national names on the festival's various stages.
Crafts and local producers
More than 70 stalls host artisans and producers from the Chablais and the shores of Lake Geneva. Alpine cheeses, Savoyard charcuterie, Savoy wines, honey, jams, handmade jewelry, ceramics, textiles, and original creations make up the richness of this market, which highlights short supply chains and local expertise.
A unifying and free event
Festiléman is a completely free festival, supported by the City of Évian-les-Bains in collaboration with numerous local associations. This commitment to accessibility makes Festiléman a truly popular event, where families, young people, seniors, and passing visitors gather in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
