Aujourd'hui Musiques — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Aujourd'hui Musiques Festival takes place from November 12 to 21, 2026, at the Théâtre de l'Archipel, the national stage in Perpignan. The program features the immersive installation Je suis une montagne by Éric Arnal-Burtschy, a concert by the Les Métaboles choir dedicated to Philip Glass, the Pulse 2# live electro night at El Mediator with Brodinski, and a closing dance performance by Collectif A/R. Concerts, dance, installations, and special sunrise and sunset events will be held across Le Grenat, Le Carré, the Espace Panoramique, and El Mediator.
For nine days, the Aujourd'hui Musiques Festival explores the intersections of music, dance, literature, and digital arts at the Théâtre de l'Archipel. It opens with Je suis une montagne, an immersive and olfactory installation by Éric Arnal-Burtschy at Le Studio, followed by the concert Another Look at Harmony – Part IV by the Les Métaboles choir, centered on the works of Philip Glass.
Highlights include the twilight concert Déployer la nuit by Juliette de Massy, sunrise and sunset concerts at the Espace Panoramique with cellist Cécile Lacharme, the 16th edition of Bruits Blancs blending music and literature, and the Pulse 2# live electro and digital arts night at El Mediator, featuring Brodinski. The festival concludes on November 21 with Dancing by Collectif A/R, followed by a free-access DJ set.

Aujourd'hui Musiques: Contemporary Creation in Perpignan
Since 1992, the Festival Aujourd'hui Musiques has explored the territories of sound and visual creation in Perpignan. Founded by Daniel Tosi, composer, conductor, Prix de Rome 1983, and former director of the Perpignan Conservatory, the festival has become a must-attend event for contemporary music in the South of France.
The Théâtre de l'Archipel: National Stage
Since 2011, the festival has been at the heart of the programming at the Théâtre de l'Archipel, Perpignan's national stage located on Avenue Général Leclerc. This contemporary building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, offers several performance spaces suitable for the most diverse forms of musical and stage creation.
A Program at the Crossroads of the Arts
Aujourd'hui Musiques champions an open, rich, and eclectic approach to contemporary creation. The festival explores the dialogues between:

Each edition invites artists and composers at the forefront of the most current creation, as well as essential works from the 20th century. The festival also offers meetings with artists, commented public rehearsals, masterclasses, conferences, and sound creation workshops.
An Accessible and Free Festival
True to its mission of cultural democratization, Aujourd'hui Musiques offers most of its events for free access. The opening evening concerts highlight artists from Occitanie, creating a strong link with the territory and its creators.
