International Medium-Length Film Encounters
The Brive Film Festival - International Medium-Length Film Encounters is a major film event dedicated to the medium-length format. Every year in April, the festival offers over 100 screenings, a competition, various themes, tributes, and professional meetings.
Created to showcase the medium-length film format, the Brive Film Festival has established itself as an essential event for discovering cinematic productions that are often unknown to the general public but are artistically rich.
Each year, the festival presents over 100 screenings: a competition of recent films, thematic programs, tributes to filmmakers, school programs, round tables, and cine-concerts. The diversity of the program reflects the vitality of this cinematic format.
The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region organizes a screenwriting competition for the festival, offering authors an opportunity to develop their projects. Registrations are open from July to February.
