Cyclist Film Festival: Cycling Takes Center Stage in Cinema

Founded in 2022 by the company Lovely Place, the Cyclist Film Festival was born from a shared passion for cycling and cinema. This traveling festival tours cities across France and Europe every winter, offering unique screening nights dedicated to cycling in all its forms: road racing, mountain biking, gravel, bike touring, urban cycling, BMX, and fixie.

A Unique Concept: Cinema Meets Cycling

The concept is simple yet effective: 2.5 hours of new films shown on the big screen, selected from the best international productions about cycling. Short documentaries, adventure films, travelogues, cyclist portraits, and breathtaking footage are presented one after another, offering viewers an exhilarating cinematic journey.

A Rigorous Selection

Each season, the festival team selects a handful of new films that blend genres and cycling practices. From snowy peaks to country roads, from urban tracks to mountain trails, the films presented capture the essence of freedom and adventure that cycling provides.

A National and International Tour

Since its first edition in 2022 with 14 cities, the Cyclist Film Festival has continued to grow. The 2025 season featured 96 dates in 4 countries, and the 2026 season continues this expansion with 57 dates in three countries. In Lyon, the festival stops at Pathé Bellecour, right in the heart of the Presqu'île, for a screening night that brings together seasoned cyclists, bike commuters, and the simply curious.

More Than a Festival, a Community

The Cyclist Film Festival unites a growing community of cycling and cinema enthusiasts. Each screening is an opportunity for meetings and exchanges among cyclists from all walks of life. The friendly and warm atmosphere makes each evening a unique moment of sharing around the common passion for two-wheelers.
