Festival of Bread and Bourriol - 2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Festival of Bread and Bourriol was held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the center of Jussac. For this autumn day, residents and visitors gathered to celebrate the traditional making of bourriol, the emblematic thick buckwheat crepe of Cantal, and artisanal bread baked in a wood-fired oven.
Local artisans conducted bourriol cooking demonstrations on a griddle, allowing visitors to discover or rediscover this Haute-Auvergne specialty. The producers' market offered the best products from the Cantal region, while the rustic meal featured bourriol topped with Cantal cheese, cured meats, and blueberry jam.
