Opus 10 — Musiques sur un Plateau 2025

The 10th edition of 'Musiques sur un Plateau' marked an anniversary for the festival with a particularly rich program, spanning from July 11 to August 8, 2025. This edition combined professional concerts and amateur musician meetings in the spirit of sharing that characterizes Festival Impromptu.

Amateur Musician Meetings

From July 11 to 18 (with a break on the 13th), amateur musician meetings were held in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, with study sessions of sacred and secular works and chamber music. These meetings resulted in public concerts on July 12 and 17.

Professional Concerts

On Friday, July 11, the Trio MTL, featuring Marc Simon, Thierry Nicole, and Laurent Mandon, opened the festival outdoors. On Saturday, July 12, the group 1664 performed outdoors, followed by David Semerian in a program dedicated to Brassens and French chanson, voice and guitar.

On Sunday, July 13, pianist Aline Piboule gave a recital titled 'Jubilons !... — Jeux de vagues' featuring works by Bach, Ravel, Chopin, Greif, and Liszt.

On Friday, July 18, the polyphonic choir Les Artichauts, with its 22 singers on stage, offered an a cappella concert. On Saturday, July 19, the group En haut, led by Franck Gambina, presented a musical evening.

In August, on Saturday, August 2, pianist Gabriel Durliat presented 'À la recherche de Franz Liszt...' (In Search of Franz Liszt...), a recital exploring the universe of the Hungarian composer. The festival concluded on Friday, August 8 with Momo le chien ! (Momo the dog!), a concert bringing together four musician friends on stage.
