The International Circus and Illusion Festival is a unique event in the festival landscape of Essonne. Organized by the production company S2A Production, this festival brings together world-renowned circus artists, illusionists, and prestidigitators for three days each year at the Espace Daniel Salvi in Ballancourt-sur-Essonne.

A Circus Village Open to All

At the heart of the festival, a temporary circus village flourishes, transforming the surroundings of the Espace Daniel Salvi into a festive and enchanting space. This village hosts dozens of artists and companies offering performances, demonstrations, and encounters throughout the weekend. Tightrope walkers, jugglers, acrobats, clowns, and illusionists take over the outdoor and indoor spaces, creating a constant atmosphere of popular celebration.

Recent Editions

Launched in Cerny in 2021 before establishing itself permanently in Ballancourt-sur-Essonne, the festival quickly became one of the most original family events in Essonne. The 2023 edition, held on March 17, 18, and 19 at the Espace Daniel Salvi, confirmed the festival's roots in the Val d'Essonne region. Subsequent editions have maintained this course, offering increasingly rich circus and magic programming.

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the festival was held in March 2025 at the Espace Daniel Salvi in Ballancourt-sur-Essonne. S2A Production offered a three-day program combining circus shows, introductory workshops, a festive village, and evenings of magic and illusion. The festival attracted several thousand visitors, confirming its status as an essential family event in the Val d'Essonne agglomeration.

The 2026 Edition

The 2026 edition of the International Circus and Illusion Festival is announced for Spring 2026 at the Espace Daniel Salvi in Ballancourt-sur-Essonne. S2A Production is preparing a renewed program of circus artists and illusionists from several countries.
