Born in 2010 on the initiative of the Pays d'Argonne association, the Les Bars Bars festival is an original musical event that brings the small villages of Argonne to life with live music. The concept is simple and effective: transform cafés, community halls, and unusual places in this rural territory into concert stages for several months, thus creating a true musical circuit through Meuse, Marne, and Ardennes.

A traveling and participatory festival

The Les Bars Bars Festival is distinguished by its traveling format. From March to June, concerts follow one another in different locations in Argonne, with each venue or association offering its own musical evening. The operating principle is based on the active participation of the host venues: each site selects the regional bands it wishes to host and pays them, while the Pays d'Argonne association ensures regional coordination, concert programming, partial cost coverage, technical assistance, communication, and advertising.
