Edition 2025 — Festival of Rhododendrons
The 2025 edition, the centenary of the Festival of Rhododendrons, took place from June 6th to 8th under the theme “1925-2025: Once Upon a Time... at the Castle”. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the estate was adorned with magic, laughter, and colors to relive a century of stories through a rich and immersive program with a DJ set, funfair, exhibitions, workshops, and activities.

Festival of Rhododendrons 2025 — 1925-2025: Once Upon a Time... at the Castle
The 2025 edition marked an exceptional event: the centenary of the Festival of Rhododendrons. From June 6th to 8th, the Châteauneuf-sur-Loire castle estate was adorned with magic, laughter, and colors to relive a century of stories.
Highlights
- Friday, June 6th: inaugural DJ set to kick off the centenary festivities
- Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th: funfair, activities, workshops, and exhibitions throughout the estate
Visitors could walk through the funfair to enter the castle courtyard and access the numerous activities, stands, workshops, and exhibitions. Artisans and associations invited exploration of the castle, the Orangery, the Loire River Marine Museum, the terraces, and up to the moats. Activities around the castle and stories enchanted young and old for this memorable anniversary edition.
