Pari Passion Festival

A festival dedicated to amateur theatre

Pari Passion is an annual event that celebrates amateur theatre at Le Pari, Tarbes' artistic hub. Since its inception, this festival has been a fervent defender and promoter of amateur theatre and artists.

A week of performances

For a week, local amateur companies from the Hautes-Pyrénées and surrounding departments have the pleasure of sharing their passion for theatre with the public. Approximately seven companies are featured each year, offering a varied program:

• Comedies: Humorous and light-hearted plays
• Dramas: More intimate and engaging creations
• Musical performances: Journeys through song, blending opera, operetta, jazz, and popular music

A space for creation and sharing

Le Pari, formerly a cinema rehabilitated by the City of Tarbes, is exclusively dedicated to contemporary creation and performing arts. It hosts artists or groups of artists in residence to create a show. All aesthetics are offered: dance, music, theatre, circus, puppetry.

Support for amateur practices

For Le Pari, supporting amateur theatre practice is an essential mission. By opening its doors to regional companies for a dedicated week, the event allows the associative theatrical life of the Hautes-Pyrénées to express its creativity.
