2026
About Festival Primo
Festival Primo is a traveling street arts festival held every autumn across the towns of the Roissy Pays de France urban community, spanning the north of Seine-et-Marne and the east of Val-d'Oise. It is organized by Le Moulin Fondu, Oposito, a National Center for Street Arts and Public Space (CNAREP) based in Garges-lès-Gonesse. Circus, juggling, dance, physical theater, clowning, and musical parades take place outdoors in town squares, parks, and streets—all free of charge and with no booking required. Villeparisis is a regular stop on the tour, hosting a two-day highlight of the festival.

Festival Primo: Street Arts from Town to Town
Primo is the annual flagship event of Le Moulin Fondu, Oposito, a National Center for Street Arts and Public Space (CNAREP) located in Garges-lès-Gonesse in the Val-d'Oise region. From September to October, the festival travels from one town to another within the Roissy Pays de France urban community, straddling the north of Seine-et-Marne and the east of Val-d'Oise.
Le Moulin Fondu, Oposito
Le Moulin Fondu is designated as a CNAREP by the Ministry of Culture for its mission to support creation in public spaces. It hosts resident companies, produces shows, and leads projects with local residents. It is also home to the Oposito company, which has been creating street performances for over 40 years and regularly features one of its own pieces in the festival program.
Free Outdoor Performances
Circus, juggling, aerial acrobatics, dance, physical theater, clowning, musical parades, and face painting: the program unfolds in market squares, plazas, parks, and streets of the host towns. All shows are free and open to the public, with no reservations or tickets required.
For Families
Each show has a recommended age, with many suitable for children as young as 3. Performances are primarily scheduled in the afternoons on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a few evening events during the festival highlights.
A Traveling Festival
The festival's core concept is its mobility: it sets up for a day in a town, stages its performance in a public space, and then moves on. In 2026, it will visit 15 towns: Écouen, Fosses, Arnouville, Villeparisis, Marly-la-Ville, Villiers-le-Bel, Goussainville, Othis, Dammartin-en-Goële, Juilly, Le Thillay, Claye-Souilly, Moussy-le-Vieux, Mitry-Mory, and Gonesse.
