The Sadjet Festival is a cultural event organized by the Culture Commission of the municipality of Gilley, a small village in the Haut-Doubs located near the Swiss border. Every year in February, the festival offers an original program centered around a different theme, providing residents of the plateau with a quality cultural offering during the winter season.

A Theme Renewed Each Year

The unique aspect of the Sadjet Festival lies in the annual renewal of its theme. Over the years, the festival has explored very diverse universes:

The 2026 Edition: The Haut-Doubs in Cinema

The 2026 edition of the Sadjet Festival is dedicated to films shot in the landscapes of the Haut-Doubs. The program features screenings of French cinema classics and contemporary films that have used the region's natural settings, from the great fir forests to the snowy plateaus. Each screening is preceded by a showing of archives from the former Télé Saugeais, offering a nostalgic look at local life in the past.

A Place for Conviviality

Screenings and performances are held at the Espace Culturel Paulette Donzel in Gilley, a modern and welcoming venue. The warm and friendly atmosphere of the festival makes it an anticipated event for the residents of the Republic of Saugeais and surrounding municipalities.
