The Souillac Bodega: A Festive Tradition
The Souillac en Bodega Festival was born from the initiative of the Souillac sports associations — Tennis, Espadon, Cycling, Rugby, and Handball — who had been organizing friendly bodega evenings for several years on Place Pierre Betz. In 2024, the event took the form of a festive evening with a banda aperitif, a bar, and music hosted by Bodega Tour. Building on the success of this edition, the organizers decided to structure the event into a true two-day festival starting in 2025, under the name Festival Souillac en Bodega.
An Exceptional Setting
The festival takes place on Place Pierre Betz, a large esplanade located in the heart of Souillac, facing the Sainte-Marie Abbey, a jewel of 12th-century Romanesque art. This unique heritage setting gives the event a special atmosphere, blending historical heritage with festive effervescence. Food trucks and a bar complete the open-air bodega ambiance.
An Eclectic and Festive Program
The festival's program features Latin music, rock, and world sounds, in a spirit of celebration and sharing. Each edition offers live concerts, DJ sets, and participatory entertainment such as the distribution of free sangria.
2025 Edition: The First
The first official edition of the festival was held on June 6 and 7, 2025, with an energetic program:
- Giramundo: Festive world music
- Ladéryves: Dynamic stage band
- Bodégatour: Festive immersion guaranteed
- La Froussaï: Crazy and festive brass band
- DJ Florum: DJ set to extend the night
2026 Edition: Festi'Souillac
For its second edition, the festival evolves under the name Festi'Souillac with the slogan “Rock, Latino & DJ Sets”. Scheduled for June 5 and 6, 2026, the concerts include Soa Bomba, Léman, JLow, U2 Revolution, Milisax, and an additional artist to be confirmed, offering three concerts per evening facing the abbey.
An Event Supported by the Local Associative Fabric
Souillac en Bodega embodies the associative and solidarity spirit of the commune. The five sports associations that carry the project — Tennis, Espadon (swimming), Cycling, Rugby, and Handball — pool their strengths and volunteers to offer Souillac and the Dordogne Valley a festive highlight at the beginning of summer. The event is supported by the City of Souillac and local partners.

Access
The festival takes place on Place Pierre Betz, in the town center of Souillac (Lot, 46), in the Occitanie region, facing the Sainte-Marie Abbey.
- By car: Souillac is accessible via the A20 motorway, exit 55, 35 km from Brive-la-Gaillarde and 65 km from Cahors.
- By train: Souillac SNCF station (Brive-Cahors-Toulouse line). Place Pierre Betz is a 10-minute walk from the station.
Hours
The festival runs from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM each night. Food trucks and the bar open at 5:30 PM, concerts start in the evening.
Ticketing
2026 Prices: 1-day pass from 12.99 euros (early bird rate) or 15.99 euros (normal rate). 2-day pass from 20.99 euros (early bird) or 25.99 euros (normal). Online ticketing on Weezevent and on festi-souillac.fr.
