About Rock in Creuse
Rock in Creuse — edition 2026
ℹ️ 2026 edition cancelled — no Rock in Creuse this year. Confirmed by France Bleu Creuse (article from January 20, 2026): there will be no 2026 edition of the festival. The organizing association P'Art tout à la fois, facing significant financial difficulties, has been placed in judicial liquidation.
The 2nd edition, organized in July 2025 in Ajain, gathered approximately 1,400 spectators but resulted in a deficit of several thousand euros (few subsidies, few partners, attendance below expectations, and a kitchen fire on the first night which prevented food sales).
An event company has come forward to take over the project and would like to continue Rock in Creuse, retaining the name and identity, but in another form. No date or format has been confirmed to date for a resumption.

A unique concept: hundreds of musicians on stage
Rock in Creuse was an extraordinary participatory festival that brought together amateurs and professionals for two giant concerts. Organized by the association P'Art tout à la fois and led by Nicolas Cady, a passionate drum teacher, the festival offered a collective musical experience where everyone could go on stage and participate in the magic of rock.
Two concerts, two atmospheres
On Friday evening, the RIC Symphonique brought together about a hundred musicians with varied instruments — guitars, basses, drums, vocals, violins, cellos, saxophones, trumpets, and trombones — to perform rock covers arranged in a symphonic version. On Saturday evening, the RIC Rock offered a more energetic performance with a group of a hundred musicians, mainly guitarists, bassists, drummers, and singers, for an electric and unifying show.
A festive and friendly village
The Rock in Creuse Village opened from the afternoon with food trucks, refreshment stands, and artisans. On Friday, a school rock concert and an open stage enlivened the early evening. On Saturday, the festivities began in the morning with concerts, an Air Guitar competition, and numerous activities for the whole family. The 2nd edition (July 2025) had gathered approximately 1,400 spectators in Ajain.
