The current music festival of Ambazac
Since its creation, Festi'Zac has established itself as a major event on the music scene in Haute-Vienne. Every September, the Domaine du Muret in Ambazac, on the outskirts of Limoges, hosts two days of intense concerts mixing reggae, ska-punk, electro, world music, and many other sounds.
The Domaine du Muret offers an ideal setting for an outdoor festival: a large indoor covered stage with a capacity of 2,300 people and a free 4,000 m² village accessible to everyone. This associative village features a craft market, face painting workshops, vintage arcade games, fire-breather shows, artistic performances, and a chill-out area with DJ sets.
Festi'Zac stands out with its rich and diverse program that blends national headliners and emerging artists from Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 2025 edition notably featured the legendary Nèg' Marrons, icons of French reggae dancehall, The Locos (ex-Ska-P) for an explosive ska-punk show, Yaniss Odua, a major figure in French reggae, Billx, a reference in hardtek, Tambour Battant, an innovative bass music duo, and Sidi Wacho with their fusion of cumbia, rap, and oriental influences.
True to its commitment to the local scene, the festival organizes an annual music competition dedicated to emerging bands from Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Indre, and Allier. The winners perform on the main stage under professional conditions, benefiting from valuable media exposure. Former winners like Do Not Do, Okali, or Ben & Mylène are now recognized regionally.
Entirely run by a team of 160 volunteers, Festi'Zac embodies the values of the associative world: friendliness, accessibility, and sharing. The festival offers free camping, activities for children (free entry for under 12s), local food, and deliberately affordable prices. Under its motto "Let's live the emotion, let's share the passion!", Festi'Zac brings together up to 4,500 festival-goers each year in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.
Festi'Zac returns on September 11 and 12, 2026, to Domaine du Muret in Ambazac (Haute-Vienne) for its 8th edition, dedicated to contemporary music, celebration, and conviviality. On the program: reggae, ska-punk, electro, and world music, featuring headliners Danakil, Les Wampas, Drum.D, and numerous regional artists on two stages.
For its 8th edition, Festi'Zac once again takes over Domaine du Muret in Ambazac, at the gates of Limoges, on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, 2026. Two days of concerts blending reggae, ska-punk, electro, and world music, in the associative and convivial spirit that defines the festival's identity.
The festival offers a large covered indoor stage (paid access) with a capacity of 2,300 seats, protected from the weather, and a small outdoor regional stage (free access) dedicated to emerging artists. The site also hosts Street Art activities, a village of artisan creators, and a bar-restaurant featuring 100% local products.
The 2026 edition notably welcomes Danakil (French reggae), Les Wampas (punk rock'n'roll), Drum.D, Ravage Club, as well as Les P'tits Fils de Jeanine and Soa Bomba on the free regional stage. The lineup will be completed as the organizer makes further announcements.
Other artists are yet to be announced for the Main Stage (slots 20:25 and 00:30).
