About Légend'Air en Limousin

Since 2004, Légend'Air en Limousin has brought together vintage aircraft, aerobatic teams, and spectacular air shows at the Maryse-Bastié airfield in Saint-Junien. The organizing association welcomes nearly 25,000 visitors each year with the support of 150 volunteers, and the event has been recognized as a major cultural highlight by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region since 2019.

Légend'Air en Limousin — edition 2026

The 22nd edition celebrates the world of comic books, featuring artwork by David Voileaux. The two-day program includes aerobatics, historic aircraft (Stearman, Yak, Zlin), vintage vehicle parades, and tethered hot air balloon rides.

  • 2:00 PM–4:00 PM — Guided tours of the aircraft display
  • 4:00 PM–6:00 PM — Aerial demonstrations
  • 6:00 PM — Vintage vehicle parade
  • 8:00 PM–8:30 PM — Twilight air show
  • 8:30 PM–9:30 PM — Tethered hot air balloon rides (fee applies)

Ongoing throughout both days: Aviators' hangar (shops, exhibitions), aeronautical association booths, food and drink, and musical entertainment.

Free admission. Tethered hot air balloon rides are available for a fee on Saturday evening.

Practical information — Légend'Air en Limousin

The Maryse-Bastié airfield is located about twenty kilometers west of Limoges and is easily accessible via the RN141. Parking areas are available nearby, and arrival by air is also possible for visitors flying in.
