About Trail du Loup Blanc
The Trail du Loup Blanc is the largest nature running event in Limousin, with over 2,200 runners and hikers each year. Created in 2007 by the club Sports Athletiques Marchois, the trail takes place every December in the Monts de Gueret (Maupuy, Chabrieres, Gaudy) in Creuse. The event offers a dozen races ranging from 8 to 55 km, as well as youth races and hikes.

The Trail du Loup Blanc, nature race in the Monts de Gueret
The Trail du Loup Blanc is the largest nature running event in Limousin, organized every December in the Monts de Gueret. Created in 2007 by the club Sports Athletiques Marchois, the trail attracts over 2,200 runners and hikers on the trails of the Maupuy, Chabrieres, and Gaudy massifs.
Races for all levels
The event offers a dozen races adapted to all levels: the Grand Mechant Loup (55 km / 1,700 m D+), the Grand Loup (33 km / 1,000 m D+), the Loup (23 km), the P'tit Loup (15 km), the Trail Urbain des Louves (8 km), as well as youth races and hikes. The routes cross the Parc aux Loups and offer exceptional landscapes.
20 years of adventure in 2026
To celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026, the Trail du Loup Blanc is planning a 120 km ultra trail race, humorously named l'Ultra tres tres grand tres mechant Loup. The event continues to gain popularity each year, attracting runners from Limousin, Poitiers, Lille, and even Canada.

For this anniversary edition, a new 120 km ultra trail race will be offered, named l'Ultra tres tres grand tres mechant Loup. All the usual distances will also be on the program.
