A summer festival under the Mediterranean pines

The Sous les Pins Festival was born in 1998 in Chateauneuf-les-Martigues, a town on the Cote Bleue located between Marseille and Martigues. For over twenty-five years, this open-air festival has taken over the Parc Francois Mitterrand every early July. This green Mediterranean space hosts stages set up under pine and oak trees, offering a natural and relaxed setting for spectators.

Five evenings of music and comedy

The programming of the Sous les Pins Festival focuses on diversity and accessibility: each edition offers five consecutive evenings mixing variety, rock, comedy, world music, and tribute shows. The lineup features nationally renowned artists and popular shows, with a particular focus on eclecticism and family entertainment.

Over the years, the Sous les Pins Festival has hosted top artists and shows: Chevaliers du Fiel, emblematic comedians from the South, BB Brunes, Celtic Legends, the TOP 80 tour, and tributes like ABBA Fever. The programming favors shows accessible to the widest audience, in a friendly and festive atmosphere that has made this summer event on the Cote Bleue famous.

A park, an atmosphere

The Parc Francois Mitterrand offers an ideal setting for an open-air festival: a wooded area, an outdoor stage, tiered seating and numbered seats, a bar, and food on site. Free parking at the Pole Culturel Jean-Claude Izzo and at the Amandeirets stadium makes access easy. The festival is organized by the cultural service of the town of Chateauneuf-les-Martigues, with ticketing available online and at usual points of sale.
