Festivendanges Sancerre

A festival in the heart of the Sancerre grape harvest

Created in 2014 by the association “Un Piment dans le Loukoum”, Festivendanges celebrates the grape harvest period in Sancerre, the world capital of Loire white wine. The festival takes place on the last weekend of September, at the time when winegrowers harvest the grapes on the Sancerre hillsides. Since its creation, the festival has hosted over 30 artists on stage and attracted nearly 4000 spectators.

Two evenings of concerts at the foot of the Tour des Fiefs

The festival offers 6 concerts spread over two evenings, Friday and Saturday, at the foot of the Tour des Fiefs, on the place du Connétable, in the heart of Sancerre. This exceptional setting, with views of the vineyards and the Loire Valley, offers a unique atmosphere to enjoy music in a festive and friendly spirit.

An eclectic and festive program

Festivendanges' program is deliberately eclectic, mixing musical genres: rock, groove, traditional music, Celtic music, electro. The festival showcases regional and national artists, and favors energetic and festive live performances, in keeping with the spirit of the grape harvest.

On Saturday afternoon, Festivendanges offers discovery workshops and activities for children in the town of Sancerre. These free activities allow families to participate in the festival in a fun and educational atmosphere.
