Fête Bio de Vézelay - 2025 Edition
On Sunday, August 17, 2025, Vézelay's Place Borot hosted the new edition of the Fête Bio, true to its tradition of the third Sunday in August. Organized by GABY and the municipality of Vézelay, this day brought together organic producers, artisans, associations, and citizens committed to responsible consumption.
The organic market featured a wide range of products from organic farming: seasonal vegetables, raw milk cheeses, Burgundy wines certified organic, artisanal beers, honeys and apiary products, sourdough breads, aromatic and medicinal plants. Artisans offering wool creations, boxwood sculptures, and eco-responsible crafts completed the offerings at the stalls.
Musical entertainment enlivened the morning and early afternoon, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere. Midday, a collective organic catering service allowed visitors to have lunch on-site with products directly from the market. In the late afternoon, the documentary screening "Organic for All in the Yonne" opened a citizen debate hosted by ADENY and Yonne Nature Environnement on the challenges of agricultural and food transition in the department.
