The free summer festival of the Résidences-Bellevue neighborhood in Belfort
The Fête du quartier des Résidences is one of the free summer events organized by the City of Belfort as part of the Festiv'Tour and Festiv'Été. Every summer at Parc de la Douce, it offers residents of the Résidences-Bellevue neighborhood games, creative workshops, family activities, and intergenerational moments of conviviality, in a spirit of social connection and living together.
The Résidences-Bellevue neighborhood is one of Belfort's residential areas (90000), located in the eastern part of the city. Every summer, it hosts festive events organized as part of the City of Belfort's summer initiatives, notably the Festiv'Tour and Festiv'Été, which distribute free activities throughout Belfort's neighborhoods.
The Festiv'Tour is an initiative by the City of Belfort that organizes a day of activities in a different neighborhood every summer Saturday. When the Résidences host the Festiv'Tour, the Parc de la Douce—the neighborhood's green space—transforms into a festive playground with creative recycling workshops, face painting, giant wooden games, sports challenges, and circus entertainment.
These activities are completely free and designed for families and adults alike, in a spirit of inclusion and social diversity. Neighborhood houses and local associations participate in the organization to offer activities tailored to residents.
The Résidences neighborhood is also associated with artistic trails organized in May as part of cultural mediation projects. Ephemeral works created by students from Léonard-de-Vinci and Simone-Signoret middle schools, and the neighborhood's primary schools, are exhibited in the streets to showcase the creativity of young residents.
The neighborhood has a food market that hosts about fifty vendors, forming a regular social hub for residents. During the summer festivals, this commercial fabric contributes to the neighborhood's liveliness and the creation of a friendly atmosphere.
Belfort has several neighborhoods enlivened by neighborhood houses and social centers that play an essential role in social connection. Neighborhood festivals are part of a municipal policy to enhance each area of the city, allowing all residents to benefit from quality activities close to home.
The 2026 neighborhood festival will be held as part of Belfort's summer Festiv'Tour. Free activities at Parc de la Douce for all families in the neighborhood and beyond.
The Festiv'Tour 2026 will once again stop by the Résidences-Bellevue neighborhood for an afternoon of free activities at Parc de la Douce. Games, creative workshops, and sports activities will be offered by the City of Belfort and neighborhood associations. Program to be confirmed.
