Two large outdoor stages and popular ball in Aulnay-sous-Bois on June 21st
The town of Aulnay-sous-Bois is renowned for organizing one of the most ambitious and well-attended Fête de la Musique events in Seine-Saint-Denis. Every June 21st, the municipality sets up two large stages in two distinct areas of the town, offering complementary programs that cover a wide spectrum of musical tastes and attract tens of thousands of people.
This organization into two hubs—the south sector around Boulevard de Strasbourg and the north sector around Marché de la Rose-des-Vents—allows for reaching different audiences and decongesting crowds, while creating two distinct atmospheres for the same celebration.
The Boulevard de Strasbourg is the main southern stage in Aulnay-sous-Bois. It's here that the town annually invites artists of national renown for free outdoor concerts. The 2025 edition hosted the showman Patrick Sébastien, an iconic figure of French popular entertainment, for a free concert starting at 8 PM. The evening continued with a popular ball animated by Orchestre Ambre 9, inviting young and old to dance late into the night on the grand illuminated avenue.
This mainstream and popular programming echoes the tradition of village festivals and musette balls, combining contemporary music and French chanson repertoire in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Families, seniors, and couples flock to the boulevard to enjoy this unique ambiance.
The northern sector offers programming more focused on contemporary music and emerging artists. The Rose-des-Vents market hosts an evening program that mixes local artists and new discoveries. The 2025 edition notably featured Inès to open at 8 PM, followed by Kiona at 8:45 PM, the new voice Siaka at 9 PM, DJ First Mike at 9:30 PM, and singer Lynda as the headliner from 10:30 PM.
This northern stage is particularly popular with young audiences and fans of contemporary music, R&B, soul, and urban music. It provides a platform for young local artists to perform in front of a large audience on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique.
The Fête de la Musique in Aulnay-sous-Bois is an opportunity for the town to bring its residents together in a joyous and intergenerational collective celebration. The municipality's investment in this quality programming, with professional artists on both stages, demonstrates its commitment to cultural life and social cohesion. The event often concludes after midnight, leaving a lasting memory for those who shared this musical night in the heart of Aulnay.
The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Aulnay-sous-Bois will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, faithful to its organization into two free open-air festive hubs. Boulevard de Strasbourg (south sector) and Place du marché de la Rose-des-Vents (north sector) will host two complementary musical atmospheres.
The large south stage will host from 8 PM to 9:30 PM Julien Dassin, son of singer Joe Dassin who passed away in 1980, for a free tribute concert. The public will rediscover Joe Dassin's greatest hits, including L'été indien, Siffler sur la colline, Et si tu n'existais pas, Dans les yeux d'Émilie, and Les Champs-Élysées. The evening will continue with a set by DJ Michel (9:30 PM-10 PM), followed by the popular dance animated by Orchestre Ambre 9 until 12:30 AM.
The north sector will offer a contemporary music-oriented program. The evening will open at 7:30 PM with the dance group GS Afro, followed by DJ Rachkoff (sets at 8 PM and 9:30 PM), singers Shéryne and Alisson at 9:15 PM, and Cape Verdean singer Ronisia headlining at 10:30 PM.
As every June 21, the municipality of Aulnay-sous-Bois offers one of the most ambitious Fêtes de la Musique in Seine-Saint-Denis, with free professional artists on both stages and an intergenerational atmosphere that brings together thousands of residents.
