Truffle Festival 2025: under the sign of gastronomy and sharing

The 2025 edition of the Fête de la Truffe de Lalbenque brought together amateurs and professionals from January 24 to 26 around the black diamond of Quercy. Sponsored by chef Pascal Bardet from the starred restaurant Le Gindreau and journalist Claude Sérillon, this edition offered a program rich in discoveries.

On Friday evening, the walking dinner "When truffle meets wine" allowed visitors to explore the restaurants of Rue du Marché aux Truffes — Le Bistronome, L'Encantado, and Au goût Dujour — each pairing a winemaker with a truffle tasting.

On Saturday, chef Anne-Lise Delort hosted a culinary demonstration at the Halle de la Mairie, while Albin Roudayre and his dog offered a truffle hunting demonstration in the amphitheater behind the church. The controlled retail truffle market was held in front of the town hall, followed by a discovery meal in the Salle des fêtes hosted by Sylvie Nauges.

Sunday began with the traditional truffle growers' mass at the Saint-Quirin church, followed by the blessing of the truffle dogs. Chef Pascal Bardet of Le Gindreau offered an exceptional menu under the Halle de la Mairie, while a gastronomic meal was served in the Salle des fêtes.
