The big popular festival of the town of Pantin in June at the Parc du 19-Mars-1962
Every June, the town of Pantin organizes its big annual festival called Pantin, la fête !, a weekend of popular and family festivities that brings together all the residents of the town in several emblematic spaces. The Parc du 19-Mars-1962, the Mail Charles-de-Gaulle, the Quai de l'Aisne, and the Place de la Pointe are transformed for the occasion into a huge festive space open to all.
The Fête de Pantin is distinguished by its intergenerational character and its desire to bring together all Pantinois, from the youngest to the oldest, in a collective celebration of their town. Each edition is built around a theme that highlights the residents themselves: in 2025, the theme Toi ! paid tribute to the diversity and human richness of the town, through the photographic project Pantin, the town of 60,000 faces.
One of the most anticipated moments of the Fête de Pantin is the parade of the leisure centers, which parades through the streets of the town every Saturday afternoon. Hundreds of costumed children, supervised by their leaders, march to music through the streets of Pantin before joining the Parc du 19-Mars-1962 for a big collective celebration. This colorful and festive parade is one of the symbols of the Fête de Pantin and brings together families and onlookers on the sidewalks in an atmosphere of shared joy.
On Saturday evening, the Place de la Pointe takes over with an evening of concerts and dances led by local and guest artists, continuing the celebration until nightfall in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
On Sunday morning, the Toddler Village opens its doors at the Parc du 19-Mars-1962 with its ecological rides, educational farm, and play areas for the little ones. This enchanted family space allows parents and babies to enjoy a festive morning in a safe and friendly environment.
On Sunday afternoon, the children's market animates the Quai de l'Aisne: children sell their toys, books, and clothes in a flea market entirely dedicated to them, developing their sense of commerce and initiative in a welcoming atmosphere.
For several years, the Fête de Pantin has hosted the organic wine fair at the Théâtre du Fil de l'eau, bringing together about thirty organic winegrowers who offer their vintages for tasting. This fair, which welcomes informed amateurs and the curious, contributes to the festive and convivial dimension of the festival by offering a wine break in a cultural setting. It also reflects Pantin's commitments to sustainable development and responsible consumption.
The Fête de Pantin is part of a particularly active municipal cultural life. Pantin is home to La Dynamo de Banlieues Bleues (jazz festival), the Théâtre du Fil de l'eau, numerous dance and theater companies, as well as an emerging scene for visual arts and contemporary music. The Fête de Pantin mobilizes these artistic resources to offer residents a high-quality festival, in line with the town's cultural ambitions.
The Pantin Festival 2026 (Pantin, the party!) celebrates its 25th anniversary on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026. On the program: festive parade, nautical fair, creative workshops, tree climbing, toddlers' village, children's flea market, organic wine fair Pantin boit bio, concerts and DJ sets, around Place de la Pointe, Parc du 19-Mars-1962 and Théâtre du Fil de l'eau.
The Pantin Festival 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the town's great popular celebration. For two days, on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026, the city brings together young and old around free, intergenerational and friendly activities, in several emblematic locations: Place de la Pointe, Parc du 19-Mars-1962 (29 quai de l'Ourcq), parvis du Théâtre du Fil de l'eau (20 rue Delizy), Quai de l'Aisne and préau de l'école Louis-Aragon (25 quai de l'Ourcq).
For this anniversary edition, the city has designed a floating bridge connecting the different areas of the festival on both sides of the Canal de l'Ourcq, allowing the public to move freely between the activity hubs.
On Saturday afternoon, the festive parade sets off from Parc du 19-Mars-1962, crosses the city with music and reaches Place de la Pointe, where a large nautical fair awaits festival-goers on the banks of the canal, with water games, creative workshops, tree climbing, face painting and DJ entertainment to close the day late into the evening.
On Sunday morning, the Toddlers' Village opens its doors at Parc du 19-Mars-1962 with an eco-friendly carousel, educational farm and play areas dedicated to 0-6 year olds. In the afternoon, the children's flea market takes over Quai de l'Aisne: children themselves sell their toys, books and clothes in a flea market entirely reserved for them.
In parallel with the family activities, the Pantin boit bio fair takes over the parvis du Théâtre du Fil de l'eau for both days, with about thirty organic winemakers offering tastings, extending the convivial and committed spirit of the festival.
