The Rosny-sous-Bois Festival: the city gathered around the Fête de la Musique

Rosny-sous-Bois, a city of 44,000 inhabitants to the east of Seine-Saint-Denis, cultivates an active and diverse cultural life. The city's popular summer festival is now organized around the ephemeral terrace Un R' d'été sous la halle, set up annually at the Marché de la Gare (avenue Jean-Jaurès), culminating on June 21st with the Fête de la Musique.

For several weeks, the hall welcomes Rosny residents in a friendly atmosphere: free concerts, themed evenings, DJ sets, workshops, and on-site catering provided by local merchants. The program is entirely free and open to all, affirming the values of cultural accessibility and social cohesion that guide municipal policy.

A packed festive calendar

Rosny's festive life is not limited to the summer festival. The commune offers an ambitious cultural program throughout the year. In May, the Festival Silence!, organized at the Théâtre et Cinéma Georges Simenon, offers a program of family cine-concerts. Summer continues with Musiques et Cirques au Parc at Parc Decesari in July, then Rosny Plage in July-August.

Open-air concerts and evenings

The musical program is eclectic and reflects the city's cultural diversity: reggae, Afro music, electro, world music, and variety acts follow one another on the hall's stage. Themed evenings (Creole evening, conservatory concerts, DJ sets) enliven public spaces throughout the fortnight, creating a lively and popular neighborhood festival atmosphere.
