32nd Fête du Miel des Arcs-sur-Argens - 2025 Edition

On October 4th and 5th, 2025, Les Arcs-sur-Argens hosted the 32nd edition of the Fête du Miel, one of the most popular beekeeping events in the Var. In the historic center of the medieval village, under the plane trees of the Cours and on the Place de l'Église, more than 30 Provençal beekeepers presented their products to a large and enthusiastic crowd.

The diversity of honeys on display once again delighted visitors: high-Provence lavender honeys with crystalline reflections, garrigue honeys with powerful aromas of thyme and rosemary, chestnut honeys with woody notes, amber heather honeys, and creations infused with Provençal herbs. The glass-walled beehives set up on site attracted many families, fascinated by the live observation of bee colonies at work.

The educational workshops—comparative honey tastings, beeswax candle making, introductory gingerbread making—were a great success with curious children and adults alike. Conferences on bee protection and the threats to biodiversity raised public awareness of the crucial importance of pollinators in our ecosystem. The artisan market and the catering offering honey-based specialties completed this festive and friendly day, which was entirely free.
