Edition 2025 — Fête de la Musique au Puy
The 2025 edition of the Fête de la Musique in Le Puy-en-Velay was held on Saturday, June 21st, with a particularly rich program. The city center was pedestrianized for the occasion, allowing festival-goers to fully enjoy the concerts. Place du Breuil hosted Les Pies (burlesque folk rock) and the duo MALAKA (Auvergne folk-soul with Guadeloupean roots). The Jardin Henri Vinay echoed with the grand concert of students from the Conservatoire Les Ateliers des Arts, gathering diatonic and chromatic accordionists from the morning on the steps of the Cathedral.

2025 Edition - Saturday, June 21st
The 2025 edition benefited from a favorable calendar, with June 21st falling on a Saturday, allowing the festivities to extend throughout the day from 10:00 AM. The city center of Le Puy-en-Velay was pedestrianized for the occasion, offering an ideal setting for wandering from one stage to another.
The main stage at Place du Breuil hosted in the evening Les Pies, a burlesque folk rock group, starting at 8:15 PM, followed by the duo MALAKA, a folk-soul band from Auvergne with Guadeloupean roots. Students from the Conservatoire Les Ateliers des Arts opened the day at 10:00 AM on the steps of the Cathedral with a program of diatonic and chromatic accordions.
As every year, numerous stages were set up on the squares of Place du Plot, Place Cadelade, Place Guy François, and in the city center bars, offering a complete panorama of musical genres: rock, French chanson, jazz, tango, choirs, folk, and world music. Music broadcasting was allowed until 1:00 AM on the night of Saturday to Sunday.
