Edition 2026 — Foire de Saint-Viâtre

The 2026 edition of the Saint-Viâtre Small Livestock Fair took place on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026 on the village fairground, in Sologne. As every year, the weekend brought together poultry, rabbit, and bird breeders, local producers, antique dealers, artisans, and families around a festive program featuring a large musical dinner on Saturday evening, the fair and the large flea market on Sunday, and a funfair over both days.

2026 Edition: A Festive Weekend on May 9 and 10

The Saint-Viâtre Small Livestock Fair celebrated its 2026 edition on the village's fairground, in the heart of Sologne, on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026. Jointly organized by the Saint-Viâtre Town Hall and the Festival Committee, this edition continued the tradition of a great village festival combining small livestock, a producers' market, a flea market, and popular entertainment.

Saturday, May 9: The Grand Dinner

The festivities kicked off on Saturday afternoon with a large festive musical dinner on the fairground, from 4 PM to 11 PM. Residents and visitors gathered around long convivial tables, alongside the funfair set up for the entire weekend. A Fair Dinner by reservation was also offered by the festival committee.

Sunday, May 10: The Big Day

On Sunday, from 6 AM until 6 PM, the fairground came alive with its various villages:

  • Agricultural Village: breeders of poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl), rabbits, pigeons, and ornamental birds, as well as local Sologne producers (honey, cheeses, cured meats, jams, artisanal pastries).
  • Artists' Village: painters, sculptors, and art artisans inspired by the Sologne landscapes.
  • Large Flea Market and Garage Sale organized by the Festival Committee, spread across the entire fairground.
  • Funfair for children's enjoyment throughout the day.

Free Entry and Access

Access to the fairground, the livestock fair, the market, and the flea market was entirely free. Free parking nearby. Flea market information at 06 48 57 22 36 (festival committee).
