About La Marabille
La Marabille — edition 2026
The Foire de la Marabille (large flea market) returns on Sunday, August 2, 2026, to Thorigné-en-Charnie, in Mayenne. Organized by the festival committee, this popular event takes over all the village streets from 7 AM to 6 PM and welcomes around 250 to 300 exhibitors each year, in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
A large flea market in the heart of the village
Every first Sunday of August, Thorigné-en-Charnie hosts the Foire de la Marabille, one of the most important flea markets in the Coëvrons area. Individuals and professionals set up their stands from 6 AM in the village streets (place de l'Abbé Maillard, rue de la Charnie, rue Perrine Dugué and all the streets of the town), for a day of bargain hunting open to the public from 7 AM to 6 PM.
Entertainment and on-site catering
Beyond bargain hunting, the Marabille offers entertainment for children (inflatable structure, wooden games) and a musical stroll through the village streets. Catering is provided for lunch and dinner, and the day extends into a dancing evening.

Sellers can set up from 5:30 AM, at a rate of €1.50 per linear meter, with no prior registration required. Early bargain hunters often arrive before sunrise to find the best treasures.

- Inflatable structures and wooden games for children.
- Traveling musical group that roams the village streets throughout the day.

- Popular ball in the evening to conclude the day in a festive atmosphere.
An Event Rooted in the Territory
The Foire de la Marabille gets its name from the hamlet "La Marabille", located near the village of Thorigné-en-Charnie. The event is part of the tradition of rural fairs in Mayenne, moments of conviviality and social connection in rural communities. The festival committee invests each year to offer a quality day, accessible to all and open to the region.
