About Fût'Stival

Every mid-June, Parc du Candou in Carmaux transforms into a giant guinguette for Fût'Stival. Organized by the Point de Fût association, this free, two-day family event combines eclectic concerts, shows for young audiences, children's activities, and craft beers. The 13th edition in 2025 featured aerial acrobatics, concerts by Les Frères Jacquard, OAI Reggae Party, and Goulamas'K.

Fût'Stival: When Carmaux Becomes a Guinguette

Every June, Fût'Stival is the unmissable start-of-summer event in Carmaux. Organized by the Point de Fût association in the lush Parc du Candou, this entirely free and family-friendly event has been bringing together locals and visitors for over a decade with a festive, eclectic, and convivial program. The summer guinguette has found its place in the cultural landscape of the Tarn region.

A Festive and Intergenerational Guinguette

Fût'Stival's identity is that of a contemporary guinguette: convivial, joyful, open to all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest. On the lawns of Parc du Candou, you'll find the spirit of old-fashioned popular festivals — live music, dancing, good beers, laughter — with a resolutely modern and diverse program.

Admission is completely free for both days, allowing all families to enjoy the event without financial constraints. On-site food and drink stands offer local products, crepes, and homemade waffles.

Two Days of Eclectic Programming

The 13th edition in 2025 offered a dense and varied program:

Friday, June 13th

  • 6:00 PM: Opening with the vintage carousel Le Schmilblick Club, a festive emblem of Fût'Stival for several editions.
  • 6:30 PM: Beethoven Métalo — a wild show combining aerial acrobatics, burlesque humor, and electric guitar for a bracing start.
  • 9:00 PM: Concert by Les Frères Jacquard, a rock-variety band from the Tarn region.
  • 10:30 PM: Dance party hosted by Point de Fût, to keep the celebration going all night long.

Saturday, June 14th

  • 6:00 PM: Activities for children — inflatable games, wooden games, reading area — for the delight of families.
  • 7:00 PM: Unplugged aperitif concert with The Hyènes, for an intimate atmosphere to gently start the evening.
  • 8:30 PM: OAI Reggae Party, with Toko Blaze, Léo Raspigaous, and Gari Grèu, to make Parc du Candou vibrate to the rhythm of Jamaican and Occitan grooves.
  • 10:00 PM: Concert by Goulamas'K, a legendary Occitan alternative band, blending rock, brass, and traditional instruments for an explosive finale.

Craft Beer at the Heart of the Festival

The very name of the festival — Fût'Stival — says it all: beer is at the heart of the event. The bar offers a selection of craft beers, highlighting local and regional breweries. Enjoying a good beer while listening to a concert under the trees of Parc du Candou: that's the Fût'Stival promise, kept edition after edition.

The Point de Fût Association

The Point de Fût association is the driving force behind the festival. Founded by enthusiasts of music, popular culture, and craft beers from Carmaux, it mobilizes a team of dynamic volunteers each year to create a high-quality, free, and accessible program for everyone. Point de Fût actively contributes to the cultural life of Carmaux and the associative dynamism of the region.

Fût'Stival — edition 2026

The 14th edition of Fût'Stival is expected in mid-June 2026 at Parc du Candou in Carmaux. The Point de Fût association is preparing a new edition of its festive and family-friendly guinguette, with free concerts, shows for young audiences, children's activities, and local craft beers in a green setting.
