Edition 2026 — Hip Opsession
No 2026 Edition — End of the HIP OPsession Adventure
On January 28, 2026, the association Pick Up Production officially announced the end of HIP OPsession after twenty editions. The festival will therefore not be held in 2026.
"We were just a passage. The energy continues to flow elsewhere."
This decision, presented as an assumed, calm, and nostalgic-free choice, marks the conclusion of two decades of championing hip-hop culture in Nantes. The Pick Up Production association nevertheless continues its cultural activities in the Nantes metropolitan area through other projects.
The official website hipopsession.com has been transformed into an archive site, allowing access to the history and traces of the festival's twenty editions.
