Edition 2025 — Labels Saveurs

First edition of the Labels Saveurs show at Parc Expo in Saint-Étienne. Organized by Loire Actions and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Gourmand (ARAG), this inaugural show brought together about fifty exhibitors presenting nearly 80 products under official quality labels (AOP, IGP, Label Rouge, Organic Agriculture) from the twelve departments of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. 95% of visitors made at least one purchase on site.

1st Labels Saveurs Edition - Inaugural 2025 Edition

The Labels Saveurs show held its first edition from Friday, April 11 to Monday, April 14, 2025, at Hall A of the Parc Expo in Saint-Étienne. Driven by Loire Actions, under the direction of Hervé Maître, in partnership with Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Gourmand (ARAG), this unprecedented show laid the groundwork for an annual event centered around official quality and origin labels.

Fifty exhibitors—cooperative and independent producers—presented nearly 80 labeled products (AOP, AOC, IGP, Label Rouge, Organic Agriculture) divided into thematic areas: wines, dairy products, meats, charcuterie, fruits and vegetables, and innovative products. About ten exhibitors offering artisanal products or those in the process of being labeled completed the offering.

While attendance fell short of expectations—communication was deemed insufficient—the quality of the event was unanimously praised. 95% of visitors made at least one purchase, won over by attractive prices linked to direct, intermediary-free sales. Hervé Maître compared this first edition to a "fine grapevine planted with care," promising for the future.

Among the highlights: demonstrations by the 40 apprentices from the Institut des Métiers de Saint-Étienne (IMSÉ) in baking, pastry, butchery, and cooking, performances by WorldSkills medalists, food and wine pairing workshops hosted by culinary influencer « Rouge aux Lèvres », a culinary show by a renowned regional chef on Friday evening, and the presence of eight regional gastronomic guilds. Monday, the professional day, featured conferences on the challenges of SIQO sectors.

The show received joint financial support from the City of Saint-Étienne, Saint-Étienne Métropole, and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region amounting to €100,000, with a three-year goal for financial balance.
