The first regional show for official quality labels in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Labels Saveurs was born from the desire of Loire Actions, an association founded in 1948, and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Gourmand (ARAG) to create a unique event of its kind: the first regional show entirely dedicated to official quality and origin labels (SIQO). The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region boasts nearly 190 official quality labels, including around 150 AOC and AOP (77 wines, 24 dairy products, 25 meat or charcuterie products), in addition to hundreds of products under Label Rouge, IGP, and Organic Agriculture.
The show takes place in Hall A of the Parc Expo in Saint-Étienne, covering an area of 4,000 m². Visitors can wander through carefully organized thematic areas: a wine space featuring regional appellations, a dairy products section with the region's AOP cheeses, a meats and charcuterie area highlighting Label Rouge and IGP products, a fruits and vegetables village, and a space dedicated to innovative products. This organization allows visitors to discover the richness and diversity of agricultural production from the twelve departments of the region.
On the central stage, activities take place throughout the show. Apprentices from the Institut des Métiers de Saint-Étienne (IMSÉ)—around forty young people in baking, pastry, butchery, and cooking—conduct live demonstrations. WorldSkills medalists in pastry and cooking offer exceptional performances. Culinary influencer « Rouge aux Lèvres » hosts food and wine pairing workshops on the weekend, while a renowned regional chef gives a culinary show during the opening evening on Friday.
The regional gastronomic guilds are privileged ambassadors of the show. Dressed in their traditional attire, they embody the living culinary heritage of the region and actively participate in the activities, particularly during the opening evening on Friday. Their presence underscores the cultural and historical roots of quality products in local traditions.
Admission to the show is free, upon prior registration via the website, to reach the widest possible audience. Labels Saveurs is aimed at both individuals and professionals in the catering and distribution sectors. The weekend days are geared towards the general public with tastings and direct sales, while thematic conferences on the challenges of the agricultural and wine sectors, organized in partnership with the Chambers of Agriculture, complete the program for professionals.
The Labels Saveurs show returns for its second edition from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Parc Expo in Saint-Étienne. Learning from the inaugural edition, the organizers—Loire Actions and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Gourmand (ARAG)—have condensed the format to three days instead of four, while strengthening communication and expanding the participation of agricultural professional organizations.
The show continues to highlight the approximately 190 official quality labels of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the leading region in France for the number of labels. Visitors will find the thematic areas—wines, dairy products, meats and charcuterie, fruits and vegetables, innovative products—as well as tastings, culinary demonstrations on the central stage, and direct meetings with producers.
This second edition aims to consolidate Labels Saveurs as the essential annual event for lovers of quality products in the Loire region and beyond. The event remains free and open to all, upon registration, with an enriched program combining public activities and professional sessions.
The Parc Expo in Saint-Étienne is located southwest of the city, easily accessible from the A72 motorway.
On-site catering provided by exhibitors. Tastings of labeled products throughout the show.
