Since 1974, the Fête des Vendanges in Tain-l'Hermitage has celebrated the local vineyards and terroir at the foot of the Hermitage hill in the Drôme region. The Fête des Vendanges will take place on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Tain-l'Hermitage. The Ardèche Hermitage tourist office has announced two main events: the election of the Grape Harvest Queen and her runners-up on Saturday starting at 9:00 PM at Espace Rochegude, and the parade on Sunday starting at 3:00 PM, followed by guest musical performances at the same venue.
The parade is free to attend. Ticket prices for the election evening have not been disclosed. The Fête des Vendanges in Tain-l'Hermitage marks the start of the grape harvest at the foot of the Hermitage hill in the northern Rhône Valley. It is organized by the Tain-l'Hermitage Festival Committee, an association based at 15 rue de la Bâtie.
A mid-September weekend
Over two days, local winemakers and producers showcase their wines, charcuterie, spices, and regional specialties. Tastings of the previous year's vintage offer a chance to discover the latest releases from the Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, and Saint-Joseph appellations.
