Three days of musette and accordion music in Port-sur-Saône
Every autumn, Saônexpo in Port-sur-Saône vibrates to the sound of the accordion for three days of concerts, dancing meals, and tea dances. Presented by DV Spectacles, this friendly event brings together nine artists and an orchestra to celebrate the accordion in all its forms: musette, variety, dance, and popular tradition. A festive and popular gathering in the heart of Haute-Saône.
Every first weekend of October, the Saônexpo hall in Port-sur-Saône transforms into an accordion temple. For three days, fans of musette, variety, and popular dances gather to celebrate the king of instruments for parties. Les 3 Jours de l'Accordéon have become an anticipated event for enthusiasts from the entire Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and beyond.
Presented by DV Spectacles, the concerts showcase accordion virtuosos. Among the regularly featured artists are: Dominique Morizé, master of ceremonies and talented accordionist, René Grolier, Yannick Cattin, Thierry Bonnefous, Robert Lafont, Florine Malherbe, Florent Gorris, and Christophe Sirgues. The orchestra of Frédéric Buch accompanies the artists and keeps the audience dancing throughout the weekend.
The event is not just about concerts. The dancing meals are one of the festival's highlights: on Saturday evening, a giant choucroute (starter, cheese, dessert) is served while the orchestra leads guests onto the dance floor. On Sunday afternoon, a tea dance extends the celebration in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere, where all generations come together to waltz, tango, and polka.
With the International Folklore Festival in summer and Les 3 Jours de l'Accordéon in autumn, Port-sur-Saône confirms its vocation as a festive and cultural city. Located fifteen kilometers from Vesoul on the banks of the Saône, this dynamic small town knows how to welcome visitors with friendliness and good cheer. The Maladière campsite, on the island of the same name, offers beautiful spots for motorhome users.
Les 3 Jours de l'Accordéon embody the spirit of French popular festivals: live music, dancing, gastronomy, and conviviality. The event attracts a loyal audience, lovers of the accordion and musette balls, in an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and resolutely festive.
The 2026 edition of Les 3 Jours de l'Accordéon will be held from October 2nd to 4th at Saônexpo in Port-sur-Saône. Three days of concerts, dancing meals, and tea dance centered around musette accordion music.
