23rd Les Absinthiades - 2025 Edition
The 23rd edition of Les Absinthiades took place on October 4th and 5th, 2025 in Pontarlier. The edition was marked by the creation of a special vintage under the GI Absinthe de Pontarlier, a collaboration of six local distilleries.
The best absinthe competition brought together French and international vintages, judged by the three traditional juries. The collector's fair featured rare objects and artisans (glass engraving, cutlery, tattoos). The municipal museum, with free admission, presented the exhibition "From Fairy to Witch: The Prohibition of Absinthe in Art". Absinthe-flavored gastronomic products—chocolates, ice creams, macarons—were offered by partner artisans.

- Friday, October 3rd: Professional jury (8 PM - 10 PM)
- Saturday, October 4th: Collector's fair, workshops, popular jury (4 PM - 6 PM), "From Fairy to Witch" presentation at the museum (2:30 PM)
- Sunday, October 5th: Collector's fair, VIP jury (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM), results ceremony
- Municipal museum free admission all weekend
