Les Fêtes de la Chartreuse

A 2026 edition dedicated to Carthusian built heritage

For this 11th edition (from May 13 to 17, 2026), the Fêtes de la Chartreuse explore the Carthusian architectural heritage: monasteries, barns, monks' houses, old distilleries, hydraulic structures. Towns and villages are adorned with traditional green and yellow decorations to celebrate this shared identity.

Five days, five communes

The program unfolds throughout the Chartreuse territory:

• Wednesday, May 13 — Saint-Laurent-du-Pont: highlight dedicated to the Chartreuse Friendship Pact, gourmet program and exceptional opening of the Fourvoirie ruins, former Chartreuse distillery from the 1930s.
• Friday, May 15 — Entre-Deux-Guiers: highlight around the Chartreuse Friendship Pact.
• Saturday, May 16 — Voiron: main day with participatory workshops, festive stroll from the Caves de la Chartreuse, popular banquet on the Mail sud and sound and light show in the evening.
• Sunday, May 17 — Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse: thematic hikes, creators' village and tastings at the foot of the massif.

• Festive parade from the Caves de la Chartreuse towards the center of Voiron on Saturday, May 16, starting at 6:30 PM.
• Popular banquet on the Mail sud in Voiron on Saturday evening.
• Sound and light show « The Time Traveler » at 10 PM on the Saint-Bruno Church square.
• Exceptional opening of the Fourvoirie ruins, former Chartreuse distillery from the 1930s, on Wednesday, May 13, in Saint-Laurent-du-Pont.
• Circus show « The Weight of Clouds » by the Hors Surface company (Saturday and Sunday).
• Five photographic and artistic exhibitions spread across Voiron, Saint-Laurent-du-Pont and Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse.
