About Les Foins d'Hiver
Les Foins d'Hiver were the winter component of the Au Foin de la Rue association, based in Saint-Denis-de-Gastines in Mayenne. Created in 2003, this biennial contemporary music festival, with free admission, animated the north of Mayenne, alternating between several communes (including Mayenne) during the cold season.
ℹ️ Festival discontinued. According to the organizing association, Les Foins d'Hiver no longer exist since 2017. The Au Foin de la Rue association has given up this winter component (winter edition abandoned), while continuing its summer festival in Saint-Denis-de-Gastines.

During its editions, Les Foins d'Hiver constituted the free winter event of the Au Foin de la Rue association in northern Mayenne, gathering approximately 2,500 people at each edition around contemporary music concerts and cultural activities, alternating from one commune to another. The association now continues its summer festival "Au Foin de la Rue" in Saint-Denis-de-Gastines.
