The Festival de la Récup': When Culture Meets the Circular Economy
The Festival de la Récup' is a unique event in the Orne region that combines culture, solidarity, and ecology. Organized by the Les Fourmis Vertes recycling center in Landisacq in partnership with the Sirtom of the Flers-Condé region and Flers Agglo, this festival was launched in 2025 with the ambition to "make solidarity-based reuse a celebration".
A Rich and Accessible Program
Over two days, the Festival de la Récup' presents a varied and festive program at the Forum and in the courtyard of the Flers media library:
Live Performances
Concerts and theater performances animate the event, offering artistic proposals related to the themes of recovery, transformation, and creativity. The program mixes musical discoveries and original theatrical forms.
Workshops and Games
Repair and customization workshops, as well as workshops for creating from recovered materials, allow the public to learn about reuse practices. Fun games and activities raise awareness among young and old about waste reduction and the circular economy.
Pop-up Shop
A pop-up shop offers objects and creations made from reused materials, demonstrating that giving objects a second life can be both aesthetic and useful.
A Project Supported by ADEME
This festival is supported by ADEME (the French Agency for Ecological Transition), highlighting its relevance in environmental awareness. It is part of a broader initiative to promote the circular economy and solidarity led by the Les Fourmis Vertes recycling center.
A Free and Friendly Event
The entire festival is completely free. Friday is dedicated to school groups, partner associations, and medico-social structures, while the public opening begins at 5 PM. Saturday is fully open to everyone, making the Festival de la Récup' a family and intergenerational gathering.
