Faced with rising costs, increasing organizational complexity, and the need to preserve a fragile economic balance, the team has chosen to take a year to rethink the format of its events. A return is planned for 2027.

Break in 2026: A Necessary Respite
The association Au Foin de la Rue has announced that Les Foins d'Hiver will not take place in 2026. This decision is part of a global break for the association, which also affects the summer festival Au Foin de la Rue. The reasons cited are the increase in operating costs, the growing organizational complexity, and the desire to preserve the fragile economic balance of the structure, while remaining true to its ethical and solidarity values.
During this year of pause, the team and volunteers will work on rethinking the format of the events to make them more sustainable and better suited to the association's capabilities. Soirées Rouges and one-off events will continue to animate the cultural season in Mayenne. The return of Les Foins d'Hiver is planned for 2027.
