2025: End of Les Nuits de Nacre, Birth of Tulle Remet le Son
In 2025, Les Nuits de Nacre did not take place. The organizing association, declared bankrupt in December 2024, could not continue its activities. However, the tradition of Tulle's accordion festival did not die out: the City of Tulle took over by creating a new festival named Tulle Remet le Son, which took place from June 27 to 29, 2025.
This new event, while continuing the spirit of Les Nuits de Nacre, brings new dimensions to the festival: emphasis on traditional dance, creation of a large guinguette (open-air dance hall) on Quai Baluze, introductory workshops... The success of this first edition confirmed the public's attachment to the accordion festival and the desire to perpetuate this popular musical tradition in Tulle.
