Les Printemps du Monde

The 28th edition of Les Printemps du Monde brought together world music lovers from June 4 to 8, 2025, in six towns in Provence Verte. An edition praised for the richness of its programming and the conviviality of its events.

Concerts and Programming

The program showcased exceptional musical diversity: African music, Occitan songs, Mediterranean music, ethno jazz, world polyphonies, Asian music. The Théâtre de verdure in Correns hosted the main evening concerts in a magnificent natural setting bathed in the summer light of Provence.

Balètis and Participation

True to its tradition, the festival offered balètis — participatory dance evenings — accessible to all, led by musicians and dance callers from traditions around the world. These moments of collective dance brought together young and old in a joyful and accessible communion.

Open Stages and Workshops

Open stages allowed amateur and aspiring professional musicians to perform for the festival audience. Singing, dancing, and instrument-making workshops enriched the program, allowing the public to actively participate in the festival's musical life.

A Rollout Across Six Towns

The 2025 edition continued the festival's traveling tradition by unfolding across six towns in Provence Verte: Correns (main site), Cotignac, Brignoles, Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, Châteauvert, and Draguignan. Each town hosted one or more events, allowing local audiences to enjoy the programming nearby.
