The 2025 edition of the Richelieu Truffle Market was held under the market halls of the cardinal's city. Touraine truffle growers presented their harvest of fresh black truffles (Tuber melanosporum), in a context of significantly reduced production due to difficult climatic conditions.
Despite volumes halved compared to the previous season, the quality was present, with truffles sold between 900 and 1,300 euros per kilogram. Producers of foie gras, saffron, honey, and local wines completed the offerings of this friendly market.
