The Christmas Market of Angers is regularly ranked among the ten most beautiful Christmas markets in France. Organized by 2A Organisation, a company specializing in event management founded in 1998, it brings together over a hundred wooden chalets each year in the heart of Angers' historic city center, within the enchanting setting of the Soleils d'Hiver festivities.

A magical tour of the city center

The market spans several squares and streets in the city center: the iconic Place du Ralliement, the beating heart of the city of Angers, Rue Lenepveu, Place du Pilori, and, from December 1st, Place Molière. This festive route invites visitors to stroll in a warm atmosphere, lulled by Christmas lights and the scents of mulled wine and regional specialties.

Craftsmanship and gastronomy from the Grand Ouest

The market chalets showcase local craftsmanship and productions from the Grand Ouest: handmade jewelry, decorative objects, artisanal creations, wooden toys, textiles, scented candles, and many other treasures. For gastronomy, visitors can enjoy regional specialties: crêpes, waffles, hot chocolate, mulled wine, fouaces angevines, rillauds, and other seasonal delicacies.

Activities and events

The Christmas Market of Angers also offers activities throughout the period: creative workshops, children's shows, concerts, and appearances by Santa Claus. The Friday and Saturday evening openings extend the magic into the evening, with a particularly festive atmosphere.
