About Music Festival in Le Lamentin
Every June 21, Le Lamentin, in Martinique, celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival): local artists, amateur groups, and established bands perform for free outdoors in the town. Organized by the City of Le Lamentin and its Office of Culture, the evening is entirely free and blends Caribbean music with repertoires from all horizons.

As everywhere in France and its overseas territories since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the town of Le Lamentin into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over the public space of the town in the evening, in all genres and for all audiences, from traditional Martinican music to current repertoires.
