About Music Festival in Le Plessis-Trévise
Every June 21st, Le Plessis-Trévise celebrates the Fête de la Musique: choirs, music schools, amateur musicians, and invited groups perform for free in the Place du Marché and the city's parks, from morning until late in the evening. Organized by the municipality of Le Plessis-Trévise, the day is entirely free and open to all.
The Fête de la Musique in Le Plessis-Trévise
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Le Plessis-Trévise into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces, from morning until late in the evening, in all genres and for all audiences.
A festival spread throughout the city
Usually, the festival unfolds around the Place du Marché and its bandstand, a central hub for activities, as well as in Parc Mansart and Parc de Burladingen. Choirs, students from the César Franck music school, a springboard stage for local talents, and invited groups perform successively throughout the day, with the evening traditionally extending with a torchlight procession and a fireworks display.
