The Fête de la Musique in Sainte-Anne

As everywhere in France since 1982, and just as fully in Guadeloupe, the Fête de la Musique transforms the town of Sainte-Anne into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until late into the night, in all styles and for all audiences.

A festival in the heart of the town and the Riviera du Levant

A renowned seaside resort on Grande-Terre, Sainte-Anne usually hosts the festival in the heart of its town center, around the town hall square (Place Schoelcher), a stone's throw from the beach. The event is part of the "La Riviera fête la musique" program organized by the Communauté d'agglomération La Riviera du Levant, which brings together Sainte-Anne, Le Gosier, Saint-François, and La Désirade. Over the years, the Sainte-Anne stage has welcomed both traditional Antillean music groups and established artists from the Guadeloupean scene.
