The Tours stop of the 4th edition of the regional tour Place du Numérique takes place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 1 PM to 6 PM, at Place Anatole France in Tours. Organized by Info Jeunes Indre-et-Loire and Info Jeunes Centre-Val de Loire as part of the regional label Humain & Tech piloted by the Centre-Val de Loire Region, this free day brings together five thematic areas in the heart of the city.

Five areas to explore digital technology

Stage Area — Conferences and animations on the central platform: "Yes we code" project pitches from schools, giant "Disinformation by AI" goose game animated by Info Jeunes Centre-Val de Loire, and the Tribunal des générations futures (Tribunal of Future Generations) on the theme "Does AI control us?" with Compagnie Nomad'I Serane.

Professions Area — Cyber-attack workshop with Security Data Network, meetings with digital professionals, and information stands on training and professions held by SPRO-EP, Cap Emploi, Numeric'emploi, and Greta Val de Loire.

Digital Culture Area — "Chill" corner with psychologist Arnaud Sylla, interactive exhibition on AI and social networks by Fabien Vidal, workshops on digital identity, cyberbullying, and critical thinking about images, demonstration of the Borne Arture by the Departmental Library.

Responsible Technology Area — Interactive sound walk Débride ta Puce (Conscience 2.0), 45-minute responsible village on the environmental impact of digital technology, facial recognition and digital hygiene workshops animated by Greta Val de Loire.

LEIHLEY, Tours godmother

The Tours stop benefits from the patronage of LEIHLEY, a video game streamer, who shares her experience and journey in the video game industry and content creation.

A regional tour in six cities

Place du Numérique 2026 travels across the Centre-Val de Loire region from May 5 to June 9, 2026, making stops in Blois (May 5), Tours (May 28), Orléans (June 9), and three other cities in the territory. Before animations were also deployed in the spring in media libraries and youth structures, focusing on cyberbullying, virtual reality, gaming, robotics, coding, and 3D printing. The exhibition Les oubliées du numérique (The Forgotten Women of Digital Technology), created by La Fabrique des possibles and Les Petits Débrouillards, accompanies each stop to honor women who have marked the history of digital technology.
