Edition 2026 — Cinéma de Gindou
42nd edition of Rencontres Cinéma de Gindou. Eight days of open-air and indoor cinema in the village of Gindou, with free evening screenings at the "Cinéma de Verdure," daytime screenings at L'Arsénic, meetings with filmmakers, aperitif-concerts, and a "great night" of screenings.

42nd edition: See you in August 2026
The 42nd Rencontres Cinéma de Gindou will take place from August 15 to 22, 2026. True to its spirit since 1985, the festival will offer eight days of cinematic discoveries in the heart of the Lot.
Expected Program
As every year, the program will revolve around the festival's three emblematic selections:
- Guest of Honor: a retrospective of a major filmmaker or artist in cinema, present throughout the week for exchanges with the public
- Cinematic Wanderings: a selection of recent films from around the world, shorts and features, documentaries and fiction
- Heritage Films: in collaboration with the Cinémathèque de Toulouse and the CNC
Outdoor screenings at the "Cinéma de Verdure" will remain free. Daytime screenings will take place in the L'Arsénic hall. The complete program will be available in early August on the festival's official website.
