42nd Gindou Cinema Meetings — August 15-22, 2026

True to its spirit since 1985, the festival offers eight days of cinematic discoveries in the heart of Lot, with screenings from morning to evening and around 70 films across three selections.

Guest of Honor 2026: Dominique Cabrera

Filmmaker Dominique Cabrera is the guest of honor for this edition. A retrospective is dedicated to her, and she will interact with the public throughout the week.

The Three Selections

• Guest of Honor: a retrospective dedicated to the major personality of the 7th art present during the week.
• Cinematic Wanderings: a selection of recent films from around the world — short and feature films, documentaries, and fiction.
• Heritage Films: selection in collaboration with the Cinémathèque de Toulouse.

Two Venues

Outdoor evening screenings take place at Cinéma de Verdure (free), and daytime sessions are held in the L'Arsénic venue (240 seats). Each day, the public can participate in discussions with filmmakers and guests, and attend an aperitif-concert around 7 PM. The detailed program is published in early August on the official website.
