Reperkusound: Twenty Years of Electronic Culture in Lyon
Born in 2006 in Villefranche-sur-Saône, the Reperkusound festival quickly established itself as the benchmark for electronic music in the Lyon metropolitan area. Supported by the association Mediatone, a major player in the Lyon electro scene, the festival has grown over the editions, moving from Eurexpo to Le Double Mixte in Villeurbanne from 2010, before taking over Le Transbordeur and the prestigious Halle Tony Garnier in 2026.
Re:Birth — The Renaissance of 2026
After a 20th anniversary edition dubbed "The Last Dance" in 2025, Reperkusound is reborn under the title "Re:Birth" for its 21st edition in 2026. The festival is expanding its playground by taking over two emblematic venues of Lyon's nightlife: Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne for nights 1 and 3, and the monumental Halle Tony Garnier for night 2 and a free daytime open air.
Three Nights, Three Atmospheres
Reperkusound unfolds its programming over three nights, each driven by a strong musical identity. From dub to techno, from acid to rave, from hardcore to experimental electro, the festival explores all facets of electronic music. Each evening is a total immersion in club culture, with immersive scenography, powerful sound, and unique collective energy.
The Launchpad
True to its commitment to emerging artists, Reperkusound organizes a launchpad that offers exceptional visibility to young artists and DJs from the region, allowing them to perform in front of a discerning and passionate audience.
A Strong Metropolitan Anchorage
Reperkusound is deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of the Lyon metropolitan area. Supported by Mediatone, which organizes electro nights and events in Lyon throughout the year, the festival unites a community of enthusiasts and contributes to Lyon's influence as the French capital of electronic music.
